Outokumpu PSC Nordic has two plasma cutting units. These handle all types of steel in thicknesses from 2 to 100 mm.
Our plasma cutting is supported by CAD/CAM technology. This ensures efficient use of materials and high productivity.
The larger cutting machine can cut plate up to 16 metres long and 6.5 metres wide.
As plasma cutting takes place under water, the steel retains its flatness and straightness. Furthermore, the change in hardness at the cut is almost imperceptible.
